The GOP needs some shaking up, but it would be odd if anybody were to take a Gingrich presidential bid seriously.
I came upon a barroom full of bad Salon pictures in which men with hats on the backs of their heads were wolfing food from a counter. It was the institution of the "free lunch" I had struck. You paid for a drink and got as much as you wanted to eat. For something less than a rupee a day a man can feed himself sumptuously in San Francisco, even though he be a bankrupt. Remember this if ever you are stranded in these parts. ~ Rudyard Kipling, 1891

He was president once already. How many times does he need to be?

Democrats, when it boils down to it, don't really care about Newt's sex life. But they will hammer him on this issue because they know that it will be bad publicity for him.

And Ted is right... the hypocrisy about FAMILY VALUESTM just makes it so much more sweet.
To us, it is the BEAST.

I hope he doesn't waste too much time considering it. Half a second should be sufficient.

Nobody could take a superpower led by someone called "Newt" seriously.
Why can't you be a non-conformist just like everybody else?

That being said, I would come dangerously close to voting for him for just that reason.

Re: Newt Gingrich Considers Run for President

"There are circumstances where I will run," duke told a news conference before a speech at his local.
If the only other candidate is Pekka.
I'd get my ass whupped, especially in the live televised debate wrestling, but I feel that in those circumstances someone needs to stand up and be counted!

Hell, I probably would. Secret ballot, after all.

If Pekka was running for the presidency, I'd bribe myself into the voters roll just to vote for him.

I like it when a candidate takes the bold stance of backing family vaules, because that anti-family values lobby has too much power and they are really starting to get on my nerves.

I think it is the end of the line for the US if that twit gets elected President...
