    Probably. IIRC, and I may not, they didn't exclude it as a pre-existing condition, so much as put it under some umbrella "exclusionary period." Also, it was under an HMO which, again IIRC, makes it very hard to sue the insurance company, at least outside of California and the 9th Circuit. (Don't quote me on that. I'm not an insurance lawyer).

      On Cobras, there is 60 or 90 grace period to join. (can't remember which) so if you only need the Cobra for a few months you can wait to see if you need it before you pay for it.
      It's almost as if all his overconfident, absolutist assertions were spoonfed to him by a trusted website or subreddit. Sheeple
