It formed into a Cat 1 in 72 degree water of morrocco hundreds of miles north of the tropics. How bout that. It hit as a Tropical Storm with 45mph winds.

There have been a couple extra-tropical cyclones forming off of Morroco in the past decade. Two have also formed off of Tunisia in the Mediterranian, and at least one in the Black Sea. All in the last ten years.. The natural interglacial CO2 level is between 260ppm (parts per million) and 280ppm. Because of human activities it is 390ppm. Anyone who thinks that a ~50% increase in CO2 levels in the last 200 years will not cause climate change are fooling themselves.Originally posted by Brachy-Pride
