Over one hundred years of developing this rivalry (since 1900), played each year at the Cotton Bowl during the state fair in Dallas
The average score over this hundred+ years, is 16-16.

With a nod to other rivalries, such as Alabama-Auburn, Notre Dame-USC, Texas-Texas A&M, my vote goes to Texas-OU.

Note: On Friday nights before this game, Dallas jails an average of 300 drunk and disorderly that are directly involved with the game. That is, over and above the normal count.

Michigan - Ohio State

It's no contest. Some people (*cough* rednecks ) say Alabama - Auburn, but that game usually has had little impact on the national title race in recent history. Michigan - Ohio State is great because it seems that every year that game decides a BCS bid or a national title game spot.

Texas-OU isn't even the best of OU's rivalries, historically. I'd have to go with Michigan-OSU, even though I never watch it and dislike both teams.
