So what do you guys think..

I just started watching the 8th season of it and I think it still kicks azz... It's a bit different, but it focuses on current events more and more, and is still very funny.

I think what makes me different than most is that I haven't bothered watching Southpark for few years, so I'm not bored with it to begin with, with the characters etc.

Now, I think it's awesome again. The first episode with the manga team to it was AWESOME! IT was so COOL!!!!!1111

Second episode with awesom-o robot was great and hilarious, and third episode about special olympics, priceless..

Now I'm watching the fourth episode and it seems like the theme is about Kyle going to see Passion of Christ since Eric has given him crap about it, like he always teases Kyle being Jew but it's been more frequent and tough since the movie came out and now Kyle goes to see it.

    Great season I feel like.

Also, the first episode of 8th season, where they are Japanese Ninjas and stuff, it's one fo the most awesome things I've ever seen!

The eighth season is incredibly strong.

Especially some of the episodes you've already mentioned, which were instant classics.

Cartman in the Special Olympics was so outrageously funny and horrible I couldn't breathe from laughing so hard.

And the anime-style episode is probably my favorite of all-time. It is an absolutely perfect depiction of this vivid make-believe world that kids live in; it features the return of Professor Chaos; it features a throwing star in the eye; and, in the end, out of NOWHERE, it ends up being a commentary on the madness surrounding Janet Jackson's boob at the Super Bowl. An absolutely perfect half-hour of television.

When Cartman "sneaks" up on stage in the first episode.
It's candy. Surely there are more important things the NAACP could be boycotting. If the candy were shaped like a burning cross or a black man made of regular chocolate being dragged behind a truck made of white chocolate I could understand the outrage and would share it. - Drosedars

Not really on my level I'm afraid, a little too puerile...

It's only puerile if you're not smart enough to get a lot of the allusions, to the intelligent it's a mix of parody, satire, and, of course, the puerile aspects of it are just damn fun.

Perhaps it has to do with being intelligent and having a sense of humour.

                I've seen your jokes.

Canadians know more about humour today than Brits do.

                      Mr. Bean? HAH.

See, I'd have referenced Benny Hill. Clearly less funny than Mr. Bean.

It's slow humour for slow people, what else can I describe it as.
