    ...okay.

Blowing your mind, just like every episode last season.
Christianity: The belief that a cosmic Jewish Zombie who was his own father can make you live forever if you symbolically eat his flesh and telepathically tell him you accept him as your master, so he can remove an evil force from your soul that is present in humanity because a rib-woman was convinced by a talking snake to eat from a magical tree...

      Not exactly a surprise that

      Spoiler:
Mystery Man in the beginning turns out to be Desmond, after Jack's tour de stade.

      The question is

      Spoiler:
Who the **** is he? God? Satan? If so, why the **** would he need a gun and computers?

Overall I liked the episode. I thought it hit a good balance of revealing things and still making me say WTF???

I stopped following Lost after half the first season, when I realised there would be more than one season. Why can't all TV series be like "Band of Brothers", where you have a limited number of episodes following a clear time line?

The networks can't seem to come up with even one or two really good new programs a year, and you want them to replace ALL the shows annually

Well, Lost will have to have a short run. I'd say three seasons, tops. Network TV can do it. Remember Twin Peaks. Of course, once the network realized it had a hit on it's hands, it tried to ride the pony after the originally envisioned end and muffed it bad.

I agree. I can't see them keeping the mystery and eerie feeling for 5-6 seasons. People would likely get peeved and stop watching.

I do. To me it shows that they do get these types of things rights from time to time but I still shudder at the idea of them having to come up with whole new lineups every year

Hopefully shows like "LOST" learn from that, but economics usually dictate that the show keeps going for as long as it is making good money, which is usually for about one season after the quality declines

Actually, I like all of the characters except for that worthless, pampered *****whore Shannon.

Sayid could, can, and should do so much better.

                              Agreed.

In fact, Sayid should pimpslap Jack and John up and down the island and take his rightful place as leader.
