    Geronimo - go into the bios and slow the memory down to the slowest setting. Then see if it's buggy. I had that problem on this machine, which was an early Athalon XP / DDR Mobo (Gigabyte). While technically it can handle the faster memory, it get's pissy.

        The bad caps are in the surge protectors as well now? wouldn't the line fault light on the surge protectors light up if their caps failed?
