Btw: you don't mention that MS advises 2G of MEM (not just diskspace) to run Vista! Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is not omnipotent. Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent. Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil? Is he neither able nor willing?

Home Basic Edition
Home Premium Edition

You're kidding, right?
Microsoft is expected to recommend that the "average" Longhorn PC feature a dual-core CPU running at 4 to 6GHz; a minimum of 2 gigs of RAM; up to a terabyte of storage; a 1 Gbit, built-in, Ethernet-wired port and an 802.11g wireless link; and a graphics processor that runs three times faster than those on the market today.
I had bolded the memory part but after rereading, I might as well bold the whole thing so I didn't bother. Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is not omnipotent. I use Linux on a regular basis, and the answer is -- of course I won't switch to Linux."The issue is there are still many people out there that use religion as a crutch for bigotry and hate. Like Ben."

Not only can they include an uber-cheap windows Starter Edition on the $300-ish PCs, but they can also charge a fortune for the Ultimate Edition on the overpriced XPS gaming boxes.
Where do you think the pressure for the low cost and premium editions of Windows came from."The issue is there are still many people out there that use religion as a crutch for bigotry and hate. Like Ben."
