My mom holding on to my baby while sitting next to my wife who is on the phone to my dad... who missed this day beacuse he volunteered to run a Red Cross shelter down in Bolixi (sp) Mississippi.

No problem on my end, but he feels terrible. Before he left he was thinking "its only for 3 weeks. that will give me 2 week to spare before her due date..." The Shelter he runs celebrated "Aurora Day".

Needless to say, NOBODY thought she was going to be born in September. Neither of us had even turned in our FLMA paper work, and what little baby leave prep was considered didn't even have September listed as a possible month... much less earlier than half way through it!
