She gave a really bizarre performance on Saturday Night Live in the late 70's. She was on top of a piano doing what appeared to be aerobics while singing a song. And it was a slow song too which made such a performance even more bizarre. "Man With The Child in His Eyes" I think it was..

She's one of those female performers who attracts a large male audience because she sings in a high whispery voice and appears very vulnerable.. She's like a siren.. Other examples off that type of performer are Tori Amos and Beth Gibbons.
