Wew now have 85 m,ph with Hurricane Ophelia

10" of rain blocking a few roads

power outages

moving 3-6 mph to the north and northeast

still 60-80 miles south of us

another 10-15 hours then it starts moving past us

unfortunatley where most Hurricanes are heaviest in the Northeast quadrant this is one of the few storms loaded heaviest WEST & SOUTHWEST

grrrr

sustained winds of 45 with Hurricane gusts occassionally

Glad when this moves past us

Tropical storm Maria is here now, but she has become harmless. One woman was killed in her bed, and several people wounded from a landslide caused by Maria's heavy rain in Norway, though. And some blackouts in mid-Sweden.
