Most of the other half believe in some deities as well. And there's no link between intellectual capacities and faith.
No, my point was that it doesn't matter what half the world believes. A billion people believe in Hinduism. Are you now going to assert that because 1/6th of humanity believes in Hinduism, it is therefore valid?
Christianity: The belief that a cosmic Jewish Zombie who was his own father can make you live forever if you symbolically eat his flesh and telepathically tell him you accept him as your master, so he can remove an evil force from your soul that is present in humanity because a rib-woman was convinced by a talking snake to eat from a magical tree...

See? so cought up in rhetoric that you can't read past the first six words of an argument.
No, I had already made my point and there was no point arguing with the rest, especially since you were being a dick.

No, but if <50% of the world was Hinduist, I wouldn't be sure.

"I realise I hold the key to freedom,
I cannot let my life be ruled by threads" The Web Frogs Middle East!
Origenes, a very important and popular (though finally found guilty of heresy long long time after his death) Christian thinker claimed that all that were not saved shall be in one of the next cycles - untill all shall unite with God.
And I think He was not the only one to claim that eventually, all shall be saved.
MacDonald (who heavily influenced CS Lewis) thought this (or something similiar)
as do a lot of other people, including possibly one of my freinds..

It's sad you have such a weak opion that you let it be swayed by what others think, rather than what reason and evidence tell you.

I think for most people the only logical way to be is agnostic...
(note that you can be an agnostic theist.. or any other such things..)
to be something other then agnostic takes faith, which I think is entirely reasonable to have (and realistically everyone has faith in something..)
