    whats wrong with my laptop

    Need tech help.

    My laptop wireless card seems to work fine, and finds my home wireless network flawlessly when Windows XP boots up.

    But should I put it into a sleep, or something of the like, upon waking up, it cant find a network for the life of it, even if I try to help it manually. I need to reboot to reconnect to my network. What could this be?!?

    I dont know what kinda of laptop u have. Mine which is a pressario 2200 will turnit self off if left unattended for a long while. I just today had the same trouble with it not finding the network. Long story short i ran an avg virus scan and had one trojan downloader something or other

      Try removing the card and putting it back in.
