I'm teaching philosophy of science this semester and I'm looking for Science education software. For example, when I'm talking about Ptolemy's model of the solar system, or Copernic's or Tycho Brahé's or Kepler's, I'd like to show my students how they look like, epicycles and all. Preferably in motion. I wonder if Encarta would do the trick? It has to run on my puny 5 year old laptop, which doesn't have a DVD.
