  • Should I go to New Orleans and do contracting work for a few months?

I'm not as young as once I was and it might kick my ass, but that's been kicked before and hey...maybe $50 an hour? $100? There's a huge casino boat that got blown onto land...the owners say $50,000,000 in damage. I'm thinking they would be willing to pay big.

    Waddaya think?

    I'll go with ya.

I can repair webpages that were damaged by the storm.

              I can collect a consultant's fee.

They're saying no power for 2 months.

I'd have to bring a generator...a bud of mine has one...I wonder if my truck could make it to New Orleans one more time? I'd have to see if my airguns still work.

It wont be possible to go to New Orleans anytime soon, but you could start with say Mobile, then head on to Biloxi.

I don't think my employer would like me abandoning them.

I would go if bourbon street was functional. But it's not .

Is the port of New Orleans closed? How long before full operations will be restored?
