and when I was a kid, I fell off my bike a billion times... not once on my ****ing head (although you'd think otherwise)

Actually, I think it's completely foolish for bicyclists to not wear helmets.

riding bike on sidewalk + no helmet = better than

riding on street + helmet

It is illegal in Center City, Philadelphia to ride bikes on the sidewalk. A lot of towns have ordinances about this sort of thing.

Wait, I thought you were talking about the casual cyclists in the street with little kids, not the "hardcore" cyclists. Is your brain so fried you can't keep track of little things?

Spandex makes a lot of sense for "hardcore" cyclists, given things like, oh, the wind.

I don't see much of a conspiracy. Bush is a XC biker and Lancer is road biker. Big difference for anybody knows a thing about biking.

Riding a bike without a helmet is just plain stupid. You deserve to have your melon plastered all over the pavement.

Or in my case, being a XC rider a tree or a rock.
