what do people know about the new (? to me at least) IBM laptop..

that is a tablet?

how good is it? how does it compare to other laptops.. to other tablets?

I like IBM, tablets intrigue me...

The IBM Tablet is an X-series ultraportable. The X-series doesn't have an optical (CD/DVD) drive on it, you'll need to "dock" it at a ThinkPad docking station with one if you need it.

It's mostly for a business environment like we have at work, where you don't need disc drives.

I hate CDs... and have two other compitent computers (desktops)

how easy is to install stuff on such a computer?

I would want to install much.. I figure I would use wireless (or wired) for most stuff
