Is anyone surprised at the Brits strong haul of golds in overindulging on booze, getting into trouble with police, having a holiday romance and staying in the sun too long? The interesting one is the Brits win the gold for speaking the local language when abroad!

I was under the impression that most Brits had very little interest in the quality of their food. Unlike France where enjoying food is a cultural trait, I believed the Brits were interested in good food only in special occasions. Well, maybe they consider their vacation as a special occasion indeed
