great options microsoft!

i made the mistake to allow the msn toolbar on ie. now i get stupid notices for updates. even worse, they cant be turned off

my options are

- continuously bug me to update (and sometimes install stuff on my pc without knowing about it!!)

- totally take control on what can be installed without my knowledge

Option 3: Dump MSN...

Try something called Trillian. I hear it's good...

(I don't touch those things with anything less than a fire-axe.)

Trillian is awful, and has nothing to do with the MSN Toolbar.

Your options include:
1) Uninstalling it via Add/Remove Programs
2) Removing the IE plugin via the IE Addon Manager in WinXP SP2
