Debian is pretty easy to install these days, and mighty small.Christianity: The belief that a cosmic Jewish Zombie who was his own father can make you live forever if you symbolically eat his flesh and telepathically tell him you accept him as your master, so he can remove an evil force from your soul that is present in humanity because a rib-woman was convinced by a talking snake to eat from a magical tree...

Kaak,
I want to warn you about the road you are contemplating going down.
Right now, you got the tan, you got the build, you got the six pack. The hoes can't get enough of you.
BUT I AM WARNING YOU
You go down the path of Linux and you will lose all those things. Do you really want that dogg????We the people are the rightful masters of both Congress and the courts, not to overthrow the Constitution but to overthrow the men who pervert the Constitution. - Abraham Lincoln

Kaak,
Depends on what you would like to do. Knoppix LiveCD is always a good first choice. You can get your toes wet without going through installation and configuration. Gentoo can be installed and tuned to a small footprint, but that involves a lot of tweaking and requires a good level of skills. Ubuntu is probably the best choice because the installation is almost transparent.
che,
Debian itself isn't exactly easy to install. However there are a whole host of other distros that are based on Debian, including Knoppix and Ubuntu.(\__/) 07/07/1937 - Never forget

Kaak, just go with Red Hat Fedora. It's the most widely used in business so is the most practical for your needs. We the people are the rightful masters of both Congress and the courts, not to overthrow the Constitution but to overthrow the men who pervert the Constitution. - Abraham Lincoln

I honestly can't recommend Fedora. While Anaconda is a very slick installer, the rest of Fedora is such a pain and a bloat to tweak.
Ubuntu, on the other hand, is fast, friendly, and much easier to learn and tweak.
Gentoo's the best for learning and tweaking, but it also requires the most time investment, and a willingness to accept mistakes and goofs. The Gentoo fizzlewizzle LiveCD, on the other hand, is a good way to try out a full system.B♭3

I'd say go for a Ubuntu system . They'll even ship you the CDs if you don't have the bandwidth to download them ( and I recieved my request of 20 packs of 2 cds each , even though I live in India ) .
Currently , I'm posting this from a LiveCD of Ubuntu , as my hard disk got fried to do a malfunctioning UPS ( or maybe just that its time had come ) . And nobody can tell the difference - my use of the PC has not significantly been affected ( I have two hard disks , and one which did not get fried has some useful data , so I just mount it and continue ) ( I do have a GB of DDR RAM , dual channel , so that might help a bit ) .
