    A Clockwork Orange
    Raging Bull
    The Godfather
    The Godfather, Part II
    Scarface
    Schindler's List
    The Thin Red Line
    The Green Mile
The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly
    Requiem for a Dream
One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest (which I just took out)

And that doesn't even count all the "Classics" I have yet to see (Casablanca, Psycho, Rear Window, North by Northwest, 12 Angry Men...)

And I call myself a movie buff

      Eternal shame, Dancing Cow.

Dude, that's indeed shameful! I've seen almost all of those movies ( except 12 Angry Men)

For me? ummm, Batman Begins, I guess. Nothing comes to my mind. Nothing from the classics, anyway.

Did you mean Lord of the Rings, or Lords of the Ring?

Is it normal to boycott a movie because the main actress is connected to Scientology?
I will never understand why some people on Apolyton find you so clever. You're predictable, mundane, and a google-whore and the most observant of us all know this. Your battles of "wits" rely on obscurity and whenever you fail to find something sufficiently obscure, like this, you just act like a 5 year old. Congratulations, molly.

Oooh, Katie Holmes? well, I don't think that she's really into it. She's probably playing along for Mr. Insane. But it's an eery possibility.

I don't think Katie Holmes is into Scientology. IMO, that whole relationship is a sham.

Tom Cruise is facing rumors that he's gay. So what does he do? He hooks up with a 26 year old self-professed virgin.
To us, it is the BEAST.

First time I've heard about it.

Um, he's faced those rumors for at least 10 years. Definitly after he broke up with Nicole Kidman. And he'd been dating Penelope Cruz for, what, 3 years?

Word has it that Scientology has been cutting her off from old friends and family. She has a new "best friend" now who she's known for all of two months who's guess what...connected to scientology.

I saw Godard's "Contempt" recently. Amazing film, featuring Brigitte Bardot and her glorious derrière.

I also saw "Zatoichi: the blind swordman" and "House of the flying daggers". Both very good movies

Some movies I plan to watch shortly:

                              - Downfall

                              - Eraserhead

                              - Hotel Rwanda

                              - Tarkovsky's SF movie "Stalker" (I saw his amazing "Solaris" a while ago. Much, much better than Soderberg's version.) Stalker is based on the science-fiction novel " A Picnic on the Roadside" by Russian sci-fi writers, the brothers Arkady and Boris Strugatsky.

                              - The omega man

                              - Secretary (Maggie Gyllenhaal gets a good spanking )

                              - The Man who loved women (by Truffaut)

                              - A man escaped (by Robert Bresson)

                              - Million Dollar Baby

                              - L'Avventura (by Antonioni)

                              - Akira (an anime)

                              - Spirited away (another anime)

                              - The machinist

                              - In the Realm of the Senses

I need to see 'The Sorrow and the Pity' and 'Sunrise' and 'Day of Wrath'.
