This seems simple, but I struggle at it. I don't have insomnia, as once I fall asleep, I can stay asleep and sleep for 7 or 8 hours, no problem.
The trouble is actually falling asleep. What do you think about. What do you do? Yes I know about spanking the monkey. I don't need advice on that. It seems to help, but sometimes I'm not in the mood. I usually think about having sex with girls, that usually puts me to sleep. If I think about the day's events, or if I think about the current game of civ3 I'm in, I'll never fall asleep. But sometimes I can't not think of the day's events. This is where I run into trouble falling asleep.
I quit caffeine a couple years ago. This has helped for a while. But lately I'm having trouble falling asleep again.
