    New Zealand election thread

    So far the polls seem to indicate a statistical dead heat between Labour and National, with NZ First still ahead of the rest of the smaller parties.

    Personally, I'd like to see a National/NZ First coalition, as this seems to be the coalition most committed to granting all NZers equal rights regardless of their race - no special privileges for maori.

                      Specifically, which promises are you referring to?

                      And it's not as if Maori people are some privileged class in New Zealand.
                      They are treated differently under the law. I believe in equality under the law.
