Did You like Warsaw? It's completely messed up after ww2, it's architectural chaos, but still there are some nice buildings and parks.
Yeah, I was amazed at how well everything was rebuilt. We saw some before and after type images and not only was a lot rebuilt quickly, they tried to replicate the old style as well.

It is like Wyeth's "Christina's World" except that it totally sucks. It is a subtle, but definite distinction between the two.
Note the palsied, somewhat goose stepping legs and the grimacing expression. This painting is so bad that it is almost good.
