I was driving yesterday 6 hours straight and then 2 hours more. That makes over 8 hours. What a thing to do, eh?
Anyway, I saw the sun go down perfect.. and when the sun was hiding (obviusly from my wrath), it suddenly got very beautiful. I mean the sky was lit with dark and red and yellow colours... in perfect combination. At that moment I couldn't do anything but stare. No talking, not smoking, just looking at it in awe. I had the window open, and these smells came in, you know the ones you start immidiately associating with something old you can't quite grasp at that second but it makes you feel good and warm inside. Something good happened to what the smell is connected somehow, or it just triggers something inside you.
I noticed few seconds later I was alone in the road, so I was in perfect peace. Then the wilderness took arms, it invaded the roads and sucked the constructions built by man, like asfalt, the lights by the road, the signs by the road. I realized that I was driving in nature, not through the nature. I realized they were here before us. But we spank them. They deserve to be spanked, they got all this **** so long it's our turn for a while and if they can't handle us, then they should die, if that's their statement of what they think of us.
But the scenery was awesome, literally. I was driving into it, it was in front of me, the sky, the trees, everything. I was buzzing, hard. I knew at that moment where I come from (once again reminded), and that this is the only reason I will be sad when I leave this country, and the reason I should come back whenever possible. Nature is great in most places, sky is the same everywhere. But the combination put there, unique in here, was spectacular. Even worth dying for? Absolutely.
All my senses working in maximum, I realized finally what the smell reminded me of......YES.. big mac! I absolutely HAD to have one. It was weird, but that's what I wanted. Too bad there was no mcdonalds to be found on the road I was on, so I had to settle for domestic POS one, and even though it was tasty, it was no big mac I wanted. I didn't smell hamurger, I smelled big mac, period. I haven't had one in .. at least a year now.
So that answers the question set in the topic.
