I'd help if I could duplicate your hardware setup, but the one I have is a intel pro wireless, which works.

glad you found that Ubuntu works--I tried it, and I'll have to say it's a good distro. Just not to my tastes, esp. since I already have gentoo working beautifully and flawlessly.
