  • What cool, interesting, entertaining, or informative websites do you visit?

I've been online since 1995, and lately I've began to feel a general sense of malaise when it comes to the Internet. Back in the heady days of the mid to late 90s, Netscape and other websites had places for cool new websites. It seems like that has faded, and while more information is online than ever it seems like it's harder to find unless you specifically know what you're looking for.

Right now I do the usual: email, online management of my accounts/bills, read the news (international, business, gaming, tech), mapquest, google, some shopping, apolyton, myspace...but that's about it. So what do the rest of you do to keep the Internet fresh and entertaining? What sites do you recommend? I appreciate your suggestions.

Apolyton. MZO if I'm bored. Demogames and homework take up almost all of my time in the afternoons/evenings, when I'm not with my GF.
You just wasted six ... no, seven ... seconds of your life reading this sentence.

Ahh, I remember the "What's new" and "What's cool" links on the old Netscape browsers.

I generally keep Internet entertaining by visiting Apolyton, which is my home online . My other favorite place to be is Wikipedia, I really enjoy opening something random or semi-random there, and just read it, clicking on the links. It's pretty entertaining and I do get to learn tnew things.

I occasionally visit The Onion and swedish crazy sites Borr Magazine and Lakritsmannen. I also visit a free porn link site infrequently. Other than that it´s not much. E-mail and the bank mostly. Just surfing the net got extremly boring a few years back.

                      oooh, satan.

Pretty redundant, really, after all, he uses a spambot to advertize the site, we already know he's affiliated with satan.

That's the problem with internet - it has become just as mundane as cable TV or telephone. Tell about some some new website - well, ther a re only a couple of hundres alike (poly is a speciality but I guess I don't have to tell about that - even going for some kinky perversity, there still are hundred of such places.

Being online before it became graphical, I really miss the kick of going into some of the early graphical sites - I have forgotten what the name of the pre netscape browser was, but it was really a kick to wait several minutes to get pics from a Hawaian site.

@ Dr.Z are you referring to that site with snygga bruder
With or without religion, you would have good people doing good things and evil people doing evil things. But for good people to do evil things, that takes religion.
