And now we should be impressed? Aside from the fact that IE5.x and IE6 aren't going to disappear any time soon there still are the unresizable fixed font sizes, the small matter of unsupported min/max widths and heights and most important, the fixed positioned elements problem.

Opera and Mozilla release browsers more frequently than Microsoft does, fragmenting support. Nothing makes you happy.
I really don't know what you're complaining about, web page design is so ridiculously easy that a monkey could (and likely does) do it.

Every browser fails it. Did you see IE7 Beta1's result? It looked exactly like IE6
