we had this little event last year (you know, the one with the thousands participants and visitors from all around the world. the one major UK papers said it was terrorist nightmare bound to happen). guess what, nothing happened!

meanwhile, mr blair says the bombings was his "wake up call". i'm not perfectly sure how terrorists feel hearing statements like this

I guess that if you run into an open space with lots of free ground around you, they'll use the Israeli method.

Greek terrorism propaganda was a way to pressure a state whose policies inconvinience you. You issued traveling advisory for a country which had the less # of fatalities from terrorist attacks and was the safest in Europe for anyone to visit. Amazing how you can spin things completely around, with the valiant aid of washington times and other worthy media. It doesn't compare. In this case, he was caught offguard and it wasn't likely he had an explosives belt on him. For the other guy there was a more reasonable likelidhood he was about to blow himself and alot of innocent people up.
