  • I thought people from Philly...

PHILADELPHIA -- A blistering heat wave gave Philadelphia summer school students the equivalent of a snow day Tuesday as temperatures climbed into the upper 90s and so many homeowners cranked up their air conditioners that their power grid set a record.

OMFG it is a hundred degrees shut down the state!

    Weak

So how hot is it where you live? It's been averaging high 90s here, although Wed. we are due some thunderstorms which should bring it down to 90 or so.

    And for TLC:

we got up to 117 (which is hotter than their 100 heat index), and our schools remained open. Except the schools where the A/C units shut down. The A/C units were only designed to operate up to 115 degrees. Many broke down.

I guess it's like 15 C outside today, it has been like this most of the summer

There has been a few hot days, but most days I'm almost freezing here
This space is empty... or is it?
