    I have a friend that actually did this. I was shocked.

    He had an e-machine though, and upgraded to a Dell, so I didn't spend too much effort trying to talk him out of it. But it was still bizare.

    I wonder what will happen when his Dell has a problem? My friend though is VERY computer illiterate. Bought his first computer a year or two ago at 37. Didn't know anything about them at all. Quite sad and pathetic really.

    Plus he is a bit unstable and not really my friend much anymore. Still, quite a story, eh?
