To you, but not to all...

The point is, if abbreviations were to be used (though I see no point in having them), the should all be in the same language...either French or English, since both languages are pretty prominent in Europe as well as the world...

STL, MO ? Or ESTL, IL?

You just wasted six ... no, seven ... seconds of your life reading this sentence.

That would be perverse, since a bunch of countries already had perfectly good abbreviations in other languages. The only sane thing would be to adopt the car letters, or the top domain digraphs, rather than making up a new set.
Why can't you be a non-conformist just like everybody else?

Ah, that explains, see Brussels is a city (IN Belgium).

              • Don't confuse him with in in capitals, else he will think you're talking about Belgium, Indiana.

I'm sorry, I'm really tired, in fact, I haven't slept since that post...what is that, like 12 hrs? Add on the fact I have been up all day the day before...up a complete 24 hrs...I haven't done that in a while, so give me a break...

Oh, and I don't live in Illinois...we here in West county of St. Louis don't like to think that part of us lives in Illinois, its demoralizing...

                    Commy, no problem mate.
Thanks for proving a point about Americans though.
