So where's the half? DC United? I agree that with such a girlie sport, you can only give half.
I came upon a barroom full of bad Salon pictures in which men with hats on the backs of their heads were wolfing food from a counter. It was the institution of the "free lunch" I had struck. You paid for a drink and got as much as you wanted to eat. For something less than a rupee a day a man can feed himself sumptuously in San Francisco, even though he be a bankrupt. Remember this if ever you are stranded in these parts. ~ Rudyard Kipling, 1891

It's amazing the number of people who go to Baysox games. About as many -- on average -- who went to Expos games.

What do they use the Olympic Stadium for nowadays anyway? A parking lot?

They're hosing it down this winter and making the world's largest curling rink.

Let the East Enders watch an exciting sport for a change...

Exciting sport? You mean they are going to play baseball on ice?

Finally, something to bring together Albertans and Quebecois in perfect harmony.

                          Nice show Abreu put on.

Nice to see one of the Phillies actually accomplish something.

Bobby Abreu has killed his swing for the remainder of July, thus dooming any chance Philadelphia had of winning the NL East or the Wild Card. I am telling my friends in Philly to enjoy the glow now

Still, a fascinating performance. I am willing to bet no one will approach Bobby Abreu's first round numbers again, let alone Big *****'s 17.
