  • Watch Anderson Cooper almost reenact a scene from "Day After Tomorrow"

Ever see "The Day After Tomorrow"?

It's that movie about the coming of an ice age due to Global Warming.

In one scene where tornados are ripping up Los Angeles, a reporter is on detail describing what is happening. Midsentence, he gets crushed by a big sign.

Go to CNN's website (uh... http://www.cnn.com)

Click the link that says "Is that aluminum...look out!"

Actually, the title has now been changed to "'Look out for that aluminum ... get back!'"

    I'd link the video, but I can't.

I like that last line - "I'm holding onto you!"

CNN love. Don't it make your heart sing?

I still don't understand why they send reporters out in the middle of a hurricane. I mean their only job is to get beat up by the bad weather and tell us the obvious.
'There is a greater darkness than the one we fight. It is the darkness of the soul that has lost its way. The war we fight is not against powers and principalities, it is against chaos and despair. Greater than the death of flesh is the death of hope, the death of dreams. Against this peril we can never surrender. The future is all around us, waiting, in moments of transition, to be born in moments of revelation. No one knows the shape of that future or where it will take us. We know only that it is always born in pain.'"

I perticularly liked the van driving around with the web-cam reporter. Good on CNN for being the first to try that.
