  • Alcohol spending

Outside of rent and utilities, I spend about $60 a week. Roughly 15% of this goes towards alcohol. Food makes up 50% with mass transit fares making up most of the difference.

I spend roughly 40$ a week on alcohol. 25$ of that is in bars and restaurants. 15$ is on home consumption.

On non-rent costs I spend ~200$ a week(including utilities, car insurance, food, etc).

    So I'm at around 20%

I remember reading a quiz to show if you have a drinking problem. One of the questions was "Do you spend more than $20/week on alcohol?" Even I, who's allergic to the stuff, thought that figure ridiculously low. A couple of drinks at a business dinner could run that high, depending upon the setting and the drinks.

I've already been drunk today, and now I'm sober again.

        Only one night this week.

Usually it's two nights a week I drink 8-10 drinks, and on a couple of other occasions during the week I will have 1-2 drinks

The definition of "heavy drinker" I saw used in a study a while back was the consumption of 5 or more drinks at a single sitting on more than 12 occasions a year.

That means that even if I stopped drinking entirely right now I would have enough to carry me as a "heavy drinker" until the day I die...

I don't buy too much alcohol. A six-pack every other week or so with a few beers on the weekend out with friends.

Then again, after I start working full time, more alcohol may be in the cards (I won't be studying as much for one) .

I rarely spend $20.00 a month on alcohol.

The only time I drink is perhaps a small glass or two of wine during the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays.

I don't spend much on alcohol anymore, but I have around $4000 worth of bottles in the house. Working at a bottle-shop, you tend to collect them when they are on special even if you don't drink them.

0%. Can't afford it. Can't afford 20 euro side expenses aside rent, food, gas. Besides I'm supposed to buy sofa, because I dont' have one. And a chair or two, so that'll take up all the money that's left over after my pay day.

But that's not really true.. I'll be drinking some when UMF is here (new music festival), possible in other festival even sooner if they have techno tunnel, I might go and have few brewskies, and DEFINITELY when Koneisto is up next month (www.koneisto.com), they got Raekwon the first day plus others, and the last day, main day, they got Kevin Saunderson. On the record, he's been my favourite DJ for freaking 6 years now. And I've only seen him once, because he's been to Finland in 2000 when I saw him and.. next month in Koneisto :B: ORGASMS!

I don't drink often. The last time I drank was 3 weeks ago. The beer was free there.

The time before that I drank was in San Diego. But I was on vacation so that doesn't count .

drinks were fairly expensive there. I spent $4 for Newcastle draft at the old town tavern. I had a few there. I spent $4.75 for Newcastle draft at Hooters- I had 4 drinks there. And I paid $5 I think for Newcastle draft at D&b's. I had 3 or 4 of them there.

                              None of that includes tips.
