  • Is the Human Torch leaving a trail of burning feces to spell things in the air?

I mean, sometimes in the movie he's not leaving any "after-effects," whereas at other times he leaves a burning trail behind him. Does he have a trap door in his Fantastic Four suit or something?

I had Thai food last week and have been leaving the worst burning ****s ever. Perhaps the effects depend on how spicy his last meal was.

And, to beat a dead horse, why would they make Jessica Alba invisible?

FF wasn't a bad movie, for what it was. I actually found the final battle to be a bit low-key, comparatively, and enjoyed it all the more for it.

I never read the comic books however, at least not in any serious fashion. As a kid, I probably read a couple while waiting for family to finish their grocery shopping, but I don't remember if I actually read FF.

What?!? I've been assured that it's only her costume that's supposed to disappear--now, she's disappearing as well?!? This is an outrage! I may not know much about art, but I know what I like!!

                        Yes. It's a metaphor.

Yeah, I just got back from seeing it and would agree. I was prepared to see a debacle, but it was actually fairly enjoyable. Pretty funny in places. Glad the Thing was an actor and not CGI like the Hulk. A bit too short, IMHO, the ending just seemed to sneak up on me.

I thought the movie was fine. I was expecting a PG-ish comic book movie, and that's what I got.

After the movie, one of the people I saw it with commented on how stupid it was that there was gravity on the space station. I replied, "You just saw a movie where a guy flies around while he's on fire, and you think that it's stupid that there was gravity on the space station?" She then agreed that there really wasn't any need to worry about gravity on the space station.

From the previews, they make Dr. Doom look like a common thug that just wants to cause mayhem. Is this the case? If it is, I'm not gonna watch it until it comes out on DVD.
