But I did see a neat add-on at Best Buy that lets you run the ipod out of your cigarette lighter in your car, and blast the music out over your car's radio at the same time. That looks ideal. i need to shell out for the hard case, but no car kit cuz i dont have a car.
supposedly there is also a solar power adapter you can buy for your ipod that charges the batter from the sun.

I have something like that for my Zen. It charges from the car and I have a "cassette tape" that plugs into the headphone jack and you insert into the cassette player.Originally posted by OzzyKP

The iPod apparently only has, at best, a 15 hour battery life.
