I'll let Sloth's clock run a bit more. I just want to ask you folks, do you think pushing him back to slot 12 is a fair measure?

My main arguments are:
1) He left without notice, and hasn't signed into Yahoo yet. Pushing him back would be a sort of "penalty"';
2) Because he hasn't signed into Yahoo!, I cannot process the picks online. Moving everybody from 6 thru 12 up in the order does allow me to process the picks;
3) If he comes back in time, he'll have the opportunity to pick his players himself; and
4) Slot 12 isn't even that bad, projected BAPAY players include Deuce McAllister, Tiki Barber, and Marvin Harrison.

I'm from the Other Games forum crowd, which tends to be very harsh on people who don't keep up with their game involvements. I say drop him to last in the order, and if he doesn't show up by then, drop him completely.

I've had good experiences with him last year. He was active and dedicated, so I'm reluctant right now about dropping him.

But I do agree that he shouldn't be given too much time.

So, by the power invested in me (), I push Sloth back to slot 12, and proceed with the draft. Everyone will be notified by PM.

I have sent my pick, and a backup in case he's taken, to Zopperoni. I'm on an international flight to Spain July 15th-16th, and I have a lot of last-minute stuff to do in preparation for the trip. I'll get my pick in if Sneak gets his in within the next 24 hours or so, but otherwise Zopperoni should fill in my pick during my absence.

I know expectations are high for him, but why is that?

Well, he was a GREAT prospect in college before he busted up his knee (think Top 5 pick). He had over 1100 yards+ and 13 TDs last year while only starting 11 games, on a team with not that much offensive talent. And that was his first year coming off a horrific knee injury. Now he's stronger.

Yes, this will be his second year after surgery. I expect him to move more smoothly in an offense that will be run-oriented. There are also various issues bugging other backs that move McGahee up the preference list.
