I read an analysis of Bennett by one of the yahoo experts explaining why he was avoiding him and it was sound. Look at the numbers for McNair - Bennett and Volek - Bennett and the all out strategy the Titans employed when Bennett ran up the big numbers against weak defenses. I know, I rode that tandem into both FFZ super bowls and I suffered a loss in one because I pressed my luck against Denver. Put a decent defensive secondary up against Bennett and he gets shut down.

Porter is on the other side of Moss. I'm surprised people waited so long to pick him. I would have taken him over anyone from the 5th round beyond, except perhaps Anquan Bolden.

I still consider him a risk, Moss wants the ball and he whines when he doesn't get it. I suspect Porter's numbers will be comparable to Burlesons with Moss with one caveat - Curry was the Raiders top WR when he was healthy, not Porter. Minny didn't have a 3rd WR competing with Burleson, so Porter may not even match Burly's numbers from last year. I hope I'm wrong and Moss draws away the coverage, but I was still hesitant about taking Porter. Anyway, I dont think Chambers is that bad of pick and if Frerotte is QB, his value goes up.

Now, what Bennett has going for him is the Titan's weak defense so they'll be throwing alot. But for some reason McNair and Bennett just haven't clicked.

Who else is McNair going to throw to? Mason is gone. McCareins is gone. Bennett is left. He'll HAVE to get 90 catches, because there isn't anyone else that they have that can catch the damn thing.

'Cause when Cris Carter was on the other side of Moss he never got the ball thrown his way . When Moss has talent on the other side of him, the passes go to both sides. When he doesn't, it goes to him, and he comes down with it.

Porter is the perfect compliment, especially if the Raiders are playing (what is seems like) a go deep offense.
