Diplomatic envoys attacked in Iraq

Yahoo: Two more foreign envoys ambushed in Iraq

I saw an early report on CNN about this before I left for work this morning. This causes me to ask a few questions.

1: Why aren't these guys being protected much more?

2: Will they get scared away?, or what other results might this have?

3: Will this end when the U.S. pulls troops out, or will it continue untill civil war erupts?

1. I guess the Egyptian, gulfie, and Paki govts didnt expect to be targeted.

2. Some probably will be.

3. It will end when the Iraqi govt is strong enough to put down the insurgency.
