Why do you hate freedom and your own country, MTG?

Yes, I agree, it is old but I'm sure some brainless, uber-patriotic Americans still use that remark.

As long as your evacuations are swift, MtG. As long as they're swift.

Related to Bushs Speech (as he again mentioned 9/11 and because I found it looking for news of the speech on CNN)

I can´t believe that there are still people around who, despite all evidence pointing the other direction, are absolutely sure that Saddam had something to do with 9/11.

O.K. it´s just a republican Senator, I assume from these people you have to expect things like this

A Republican congressman from North Carolina told CNN on Wednesday that the "evidence is clear" that Iraq was involved in the terrorist attacks against the United States on September 11, 2001.
                  ...
Told no investigation had ever found evidence to link Saddam and 9/11, Hayes responded, "I'm sorry, but you must have looked in the wrong places."
                  ..
President Bush said in September 2003 that "We've had no evidence that Saddam Hussein was involved with the September 11 [attacks]."

Nevertheless, Hayes insisted that the connection between al Qaeda and Saddam and "folks who work for him" has been seen "time and time again."

"Nobody disputes 9/11," Hayes said. "They would do it again if not prevented

Some Republicans really live in a world of their own, not disturbed by reality

Anytime I hear someone bring up Iraq and 9/11, I simply remind them 14 of the 19 hijackers were from Saudi Arabia and not a single one of the rest were from Iraq. Lebanon, UAE, and Egypt are where the others are from.
