Earthquakes are teh w00t!!1 (when they don't cause any damage to speak of)...

Reports vary about its strength, but a 4.8-5.2 quake just shook the Sierra Nevadas epicentered near Truckee, CA. My house was a'shakin' an'a quakin'. Who else felt it? Who among you lives in an active earthquake zone?

I'm in L.A. & felt nothing.

BTW, I'm sitting right on top of the Elysian fault now. When this puppy lets go, downtown L.A. is predicted to be flattened. This should occur sometime in the next 3,000 years.
