I think that opinion in the United States is decidedly different from the rest of the world because we have a free press -- by free, I mean a virgorously presented right wing point of view on the air and available to all.- Ned

I'd say Rummy's goose is now pretty well cooked.

I just read some essay of some American about US foreign policy and how it affects the US-Europe relationship. THe word juxtaposition was used in some press comment printed on one of the first pages and has been a favourtie of mine ever since.

Why can't you be a non-conformist just like everybody else?

It's no good (from an evolutionary point of view) to have the physique of Tarzan if you have the sex drive of a philosopher. -- Michael Ruse

Don't you just lurve dictionary explanations:

" The act or an instance of juxtaposing or the state of being juxtaposed."

Yep, that's made it all clear now...

                              Yeah yeah, close together
It's one of those words I can never remember what it means, not that I really care anyhow.
Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is not omnipotent. Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent. Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil? Is he neither able nor willing?
Then why call him God? - Epicurus
