    During my latest visit to Paris (show off) I finally found at fnac Satrapi's Persepolis comic books and I have to say they're as good as babel a greek comic magazine said they were.
    Life in Iran from the eyes of a 10 year old in 1980 and onward. Recommended

      Yep, it is quite interesting because it gives you an inside look at what was happening but with a tender (as much as the circumstances would allow) perspective.

        paiktis, if you like the comic you should check out:

        "Reading Lolita in Teheran".


        I'm fairly sure those comics were featured in a segment on an edition of 'The Culture Show' on BBC 2 last year.
