                  • "The saga of the Traitor Dino'Doc on Polyton shifted to the Shasta Lava Beds, where the celebrated Ultramrines had tracked a company of The Lost and the Damned led by the World Bearers from elsewhere in the subsector. While the Cadian 1,082nd battled in the North, and Roboute's Rangers prepared to launch a second strike on Chaos lines in the Highlands, the Ultramarines heard of a vile Champion of Chaos taking up residence with the World Bearers.

The Worldbearers launched three brutal attack, each one decimating the Ultramarines' forces. After the third battle, the Ultramainres tentaively moved East, meeting heavy resistance. At the battle of the Relic a Bloodthirster was was summoned by the Worldbearers, and after bitter fighting and several deepstrikes worth of Terminator squads, the Daemon was banished to the Warp.

The Woldbearers' back had been broken, and with that the Ultramarines moved up the valleys where their camps had been set up. With the Western Valley cleared, the armoured mgiht shifted to the destruciton of the last base. Within moments the Worldbearers were defeated, and subsequent interrogations revealed that the Traitor Dino'Doc had been at the Camp, but the reason was still unclear."

                    • Armed with the information gleamed from the Cogitator, I set up an excavation camp at the first of the locations rumored to contain my prize. There were two locations in this region that might hold promise.

Knowing that we would need time to search the area fully, I sent an expeditionary force to either expunge the foul Ultramarine presence from the region or failing that to keep them tied down long enough for the excavations here to be completed.

They accomplished the goal of tying them down long enough for me to find out that my ultimate goal wasn't here. I made preperations to make my way to the next search point taking the bulk of my forces with me. I had left a small contingent of warriors sworn to fight and die at my command to obsure our escape.

                        • "The 13th Black Crusade was over, but the Traitor Marine Dino'Doc had disappeared from the region of the Eye of Terror. An Inquisition investigation determined that Dino'doc was searching for a Standard Template, Construct...and may have gained the knowledge of the location of one from the abandoned Fortress Monestary of the Tears of Sanginius.

Over a year later, word reached the Imperium that Dino'Doc was in the Eastern Fringe, not far from the Xenos nation known as the Tau Empire, on the planet Pekka. 3rd Company of Roboute's Rangers, led by Brother-Captain Lonestar, launched an expdition to the distint planet. Senior Librarian Dans determined that he was most likely located along the equatorial band. Brother-Captain Lonestar, a Grey Knights squad under Justicar Theben, and his command staff landed, and less than an hour after the landing something horrible stalked out of the malarial swamp. During the next horrifying hour, the away party fought for their lives while waiting for reinforcements from the orbiting Battlebarge, most of the intial force was wiped out by the most dreaded of Xenos, the Necrons!

Lonestar, Chaplain Che, Librarian Dans, and the Grey Knights fight a desperate battle against the Necrontyr

fortunately, the strike force began to land in numbers and the vile Xenos were pushed back. Then, on a muddy Hillside, the Necronlord of this world summoned a manifestation of the StarGod Nightbringer, master of the physical realm. One of the Marines would later comment that "we threw everythign and the Kitchen sink at it, and it didn't slow down!".

Roboute's Rangers desperately fire upon the Vile C'tan Nightbringer

For whatever reason, the Nightbringer departed after a few minutes of mayhem, and the Necronlord was brought low. Moving quickly, the Rangers launched a devestating attack on the Necron Ruins, if such a gathering of structures could be called such.

As the Astartes breached the Necrons' defenses, the Necronlord rose from the ground and once more conjured the C'tan's manifestation. The Nightbringer stormed in the Rangers' camp, creating bedlam for several minutes, but forunately, not doing any signifigant damage.

Meanwhile the Rangers managed to destroy the Xenos. As has been common with previous encounters, the remains of the Necrons faded from the battlefield, as if they never were."

                          • Tzeentch smiled on us this day. I had learned of another possible location of the STC on planet Pekka. The problem was that the way to the location was being blocked by a nest of recently awakened Necrons.

It was then that I hit upon a way to deal with two birds with one shot by sending my enemies to solve both of my problems. I sent some false signals to the Imperium slime that still thought they were hunting me unawares sending them toward the Necrons that were barring my way. Either the Necrons would defeat the forces sent after me weakening themselves and thier hold on the area or the dogs of the False Emperor would survive the battle at reduced strength. Either way I would win from the chaos of the battle which would allow me to pass unhindered.

                                Greetings and Salutations;

Milord Inquisitor, you will be pleased to find out that the vile Dino'Doc has indeed taken refuge on the Planet Pekka. Indeed, much of the fighting we've detected the Xenos Tau Strike force taking part in seems to have been with the World Bearers Traitor Legion. I have been directed by Brother-Captain Lonestar to pass on what my team recorded while on a recon mission high in the Asher Peaks of the North Continent.

Astonishingly, Massive Cyclopean structures were seen rising out of the ground on the Southern end of the Valley. Due to previous encounters, we knew them to be Necron in nature. Even more Bizarre, the Shambling warriors were brightly coloured, while their structures retained the darkness long associated with their accursed race. The NecronLord himself left the site, and appeared to go on a scouting mission.

Two Squads of Chaos Marines, led by the Chaos Lord Dino'Doc himself intercepted and contemptuously shot to ribbons in a hail of Bolter fire. Then, amazingly, instead of investigating the whereabouts of the point of Orgin they sat still and did nothing.

Utilizing Servoskulls to maintain an eye on the Necron site, we notced more and more of the Warriors exited the monolith, including Flayers, Immortals, and the so-called Pariahs(which is of particular interest to the Inquisition, I'm sure). The shambling(but garishly coloured) Death left the site, heading North, and crashing headlong into the Chaos forces, a fierce battle ensued, and most of the Marines were destroyed. The Necronlord haing been restored to life(If one can kill what is already dead) he led the marching dead farther North, once more colliding with the forces of Chaos. And then...

                                And then...

To my Horror, I saw that Dino'Doc had become a Daemon Prince. Whatever mission he was on for the Dark Powers, it was clearly important enough to bestow Daemonhood on him. But what? It looked as if the Chaos Marines may have yet one the day, were it not for the NecronLord summon and Avatar of the most Vile of C'Tan, the Nightbringer. Dino'Doc was banished to the Warp, for the moment.

Pic of the Nightbringer and DaemonPrince Dino'Doc battling.

The Neconrs marched North, cutting a swath of destruction wherever they met. Once mroe a battle between the DaemonPrince and the Avatar of the C'tan ensued, and once more Dino'Doc was banished to the Warp. The Necrons, repeating a march seen on uncounted worlds over uncounted centuries enetered the Chaos Base and leveled it. Most of the World Eaters evacuated ahead of the force. Somewhere, in those mountains, the World Eaters remain, and no doubt have already re-summoned Dino'Doc.
