                  • "The Fighting in the mountains got even worse, as the battle of Glacier Peake got underway. The World Eaters very nearly eradicated the Cadian 1,082nd, but a break-out led by Colonel S'tar was successfully, pulled off, and that mst precious commodity of them all, Time, was bought.

It soon became obvious that a major excavation was underway. But what? The order was given to disrupt the World Eater's camp with round-clck Shelling. The World Eaters took the bait, attempting to move North East and punch through the underdefended line the Cadians had set up. With a "use it or lose it" situation, Colonel S'tar ordered a Drive into the Chaos camp. The World Eater's pulled back, rushing to defend their base. And it was during the bedlam that a Bloodthirster of Khorne was summoned, destroying the mighty Baneblade Scourge of Heresy Major "Crazy Ivan" Serb was knocked unconcious, a result of drinking two gallons of Vodka rather than combat related fatigue.

Driving forward, with 155mm shells raining like the fist of an angry God, the Bloodthirster was defeated, and the Camp destroyed. The excavation had appeared to be incomplete. further inquiries revealed nothing was there. Whatever it was the Traitor Dino'Doc was looking for, it wasn't there."

                    • By all the Infernal Warp! These Imperium insects never cease in thier annoyances. We had set up an encampment to continue the search for the STC when the Imperium dogs started scratching at my door.

We launched a series of delaying actions to keep the mewling infants busy while we continued the excavation for the device in the hope that it was in this region.

Alas, fate seems to continue conspiring against me and the STC wasn't in this region. Yet I was able to decipher several tantalizing clues about areas that may yet hold the prize I seek.

                      ...

                        • "By now the World Eaters had been tracked to the former Fortress-Monestary of the now-defunct Astartes Chapter Tears of Sanginius. The Cadian 1,082 set out to close all possible exits of the massive structure, and Immediately laid defenses and barricades throughout the Southern portion of the Monestary.

Under a red sky the World Eaters launched a massive assault on the Cadians' Eastern flank, destroying the defenses and wrecking a Mars-pattern motor pool. Fortunately, the Techpriests rapidly assembled another one, and the Baneblade My Big Fat Greek Civilization Site was airlifted in.

With the World eaters banging on the Eastern perimeter of the mainbase, it fell upon the Baneblade and several squads of Karskin to repulse the foul traitors, which they did with some success. Eventually, they were pushed out of the flooded Eastern avenue and the raised hill was recovered.

Intent on recovering the momentum, Dino'Doc ordered his men into a suicidal charge at the still-assembling strike force. The mighty Baneblade was destroyed, but Dino'Doc's force was wrecked. It was during this time that a Inquisitorial Assassain was deployed in a recon role, and a clearly picture of the battlefield was gathered. A listening post was shelled in the North, with the expectation that Dino'Doc would follow his previous pattern of staying in his base, allowing Imperial forces to chip away at his defenses.

He didn't. Instead, his Host charged out and South, destroying the Basilisk battery and apperently making a bid for the Main base. Seizing the oppurtunity of an apperently undefended World Eaters camp, Colonel S'tar ordered the bulk of the force to move North along the Eastern axis. Sighting the Cadians, the Worldeaters hustled on back to their camp. What occured next was an epic 8 hour battle, climaxing with the summoning of a Bloodthirster of Khorne. The foul Daemon was banished back to the Warp, and the destruction of the Camp got underway.

Excavation of the site revealed that Dino'Doc had retrieved memory banks from an ancient Cogitator that once served the Tears of Sanginius. This information was sent to the Blood Angels, who imformed the Inquisition of what might have been in the banks. What was currently a sideshow to the 13th Black Crusade would soon turn into a major firestorm..."

                          • The Warp smiled on us this day. We immediately set up camp in the ruins of an Imperial dog monestary and started the search for the STC and sent out a recon party to keep watch for any possible interuptions.

Patrols soon reported the presence of Imperial scum in the southern area of the region. I immediately sent an assault force to keep them from interfering with the search. The initial assault made what seemed at the time to be excellent progress crushing a poorly defended eastern flank but were cut down by the shocking appearence of a Baneblade on the field of battle.

Ah, at last! While we haven't found the true reason for our presence on this pathetic excuse of a planet we were able to crack open the secrets held within the Cogitator and narrow the search. I can feel ultimate power nearly within my grasp.

As I set to make my way to the first in the series of possible locations the Cogitator laid before me. I sent out another assault and held another in reserve to distract the Imperial scum from observing my departure.

With the aid of my new sorceror, I was able to issue commands from the shuttle and observe the field of battle. The fool 'Star actually thought the forces at my command would just sit there. They pushed out at the first sign of shelling eliminating the threat and going to crush the Imperial base. However, the Imperial forces were observed heading to our base and they made a U-Turn and launched an epic battle to crush them. It ended in failiure but it accomplished its true task of tying up Imperial forces and allowing me to speed up the search.
