      Well, last arc MJ kept ignoring Peter's "Stay away from Harry because he's a pyscho" advice and nearly got killed (again) so Pete dumped her.

      The annual has Kitty Pryde all depressed because Iceman dumped her, and she doesn't know anyone else besides the X-men, so she just looks up Pete's phone number and calls him out of the blue for a date.

      The two really hit it off. It was well written. I think Kitty makes a good GF for Peter...and it wasn't a "one-issue" deal, it's obvious it's gonna be a continous story.
