Lonestar- Should have told her the origin of Navy Seals, clubbing baby seals.
I didn't want her to walk away with a "eeeeeevil Servicemember", otherwise I would have told her to eat **** and die.
Today, you are the waves of the Pacific, pushing ever eastward. You are the sequoias rising from the Sierra Nevada, defiant and enduring.

/me tells che to turn the radio down, the rhythmic pounding is keeping him awake.

I think that opinion in the United States is decidedly different from the rest of the world because we have a free press -- by free, I mean a virgorously presented right wing point of view on the air and available to all.- Ned

                /me holds up XM radio.

I got an XM radio from my folks today for my birthday (I'm home on leave, won't be around for my BD).

Both of them work for "The man" (wait a tick...so do I!) and I've already learned there is something called "American Left" on XM...the rat commie bastards.

Hobbes is a surpsingly festive tiger, despite his namesake.

Thomas Hobbes was the life of the party. All he wanted was a undisputed sovereign to organise the party to prevent arguments over the colour of balloons and the choice of auderves.

On that note; do Calvin & Hobbes owe their name to Jean Calvin and Thomas Hobbes? If so, where can I get what the author of that comic was taking?
