If my wife gets that job at genetech she's up for, then definitely. As of right now, maybe.
OTOH, if my wife gets the Genentech gig, I might become a house husband.

Someone called me from Genentech the other day offering me an interview. However, I already took this job, and I worked for Genentech for over 2 years when I first started... I didn't like it. The whole office metality there is different, and didn't suit me. I do, however, know the VP of QA on a personal and professional level. So, if I ever need a job from them I am sure I could get one. I own their stock, and am happy that I do, as it has done awesome.

You guys should meet up in the city. I suggest driving up to Twin Peaks on a clear night, great party spot. Least it was back when I lived there. I imagine the cops are more intent on busting people for drugs/alcohol, but the view is unmatched. But please dont settle for some train station diner in San No Way Jose.
Go to Fisherman's Wharf, and the Cliff House... See the city... And if you walk by the Ghiradelli Chocalate building, say hello to the mortar. I helped apply it
Well - this weekend is out since Japher will be in Cincy. If it has to be a weekend, that leave Fri. 15th or Sat. 16th.

Japh is available all next week, I'm good for all weekends and weekday evenings, how about you?

weeknights are harder for me, but as of right now, it appears doable. I am usually trave3lling somewhere during the week, but right now I'm not scheduled to go anywhere.

Since it looks like you have the tightest schedule, I'll leave it to you to name the day of the week.
For me a weeknight would have to be around 7:15 - 7:30 PM (this is the time the last express train from San Francisco gets to San Jose) and I'd have to be back at the station at 11:00, unless someone wants to give me a ride up to Berkeley.

Actually, people from the Southern part of California do refer to Northern California as NoCal

Yep, we've got plenty of those in Berkeley. NorCal-SoCal bigotry is extremely popular here since it's just about the only type tolerated. Then there are the people from Fresno or Bakersfield who don't have a clue what side to take.

Neither side would accept anyone from Fresno or Bakersfield, though Bakersfield's best shot would probably be to try and go with Southern California
