Just as a general wondering question- how many people here at apolyton have blogs, (or livejournals) and what are they about, and how long have you had them?

Myself, I don't have any, nor have I had any--- well that's sort of untrue, but the only livejournal I registered was done at 2 in the morning, and it was done while half-groggy and read mostly incoherently, and I fell asleep about 5 minutes after writing it- never to log in again

    I've got 3.

My LJ I've had around for...3ish years? Met lots of great people through it: http://asher19.livejournal.com

    I also have a tech-geek-rambling thing I've been neglecting: http://counterplunk.blogspot.com

I also have another one, but it's on the IBM Intranet only.

I took a look at your tech blog and I can't say I'm surprised by your most recent posts:

        # Another look at OS X
        # Does it make sense for Nintendo to release another home console?
        # On HP and Carly's Incompetence
        # Oh, how I love Google

I have two, though I neglected them until recently.

http://thoughtsofdrogue.blogspot.com - my fave of the ones I contribute on, relatively random reflections, though nice to write.

http://lifeatoxford.blogspot.com - sadly neglected, but used to do what it said on the tin.

I've met a few people, including my girlfriend in a convoluted way, through them, but they're mainly there for me to discuss things with myself and Oxford to refer to when people ask what it's like.

                My blog is http://www.oneandfour.org

I discuss youth rights, my work with NYRA, and politics/culture in general.

Definitely people should read it and spread it around a bit.

I got bored of mine after 2 entries. I told myself I wouldn't be one of those people who have a blog and don't update. I told myself I'd update them at least once a week.

that never happened. I just closed it down rather than have an unupdated blog.

No one wants to read what I have to say anyways.

I have two blogs. One is a "true blog" site, Livejournal, blogger, etc. and another is one of those "blog if you want" sites, (myspace).

My myspace blogs are usually about me blogging after my friends and I go drinking and start talking philosophical things. My other "true blog" I only post there when i don't want people to read what I have to say.

                      Both are usually personal.

The page you are looking for doesn't exist or has been moved.

There are two of us that post on that one though.

I kept one going for about 3 months, in a manic surge of lunatic ranting. Then I got bored and busy. Ever since then, I keep getting the odd whine going "Pllllleeeeeeeeaaasse keep writing."

On 2002.12.10, I started my Slashdot journal because a meatspace friend was pressuring me into blogging. Subsequently, I started mirroring it on LiveJournal and then DeviantArt.

More recently, I got myself a new site with a domain of my own, and I've begun another mirror of my blog on it.
